WEDDINGS DESIGNED WITH CLIENTS IN MIND
Wedding ceremonies at Homewood provide a romantic and timeless setting for an on-site celebration, either in the iconic garden, or inside in front of the majestic stone fireplace. Featuring an event capacity up to 150, Homewood brings an elegant and intimate charm while allowing customization to make each event its own.
Following the ceremony, celebrations begin with a raised glass at cocktail hour, with bar set-ups on the stone patio outside, and in the cozy cherrywood-encased study inside. The couple will have chosen one of Homewood’s amazing caterers to create their menu. As the celebration evolves into the reception meal, guests will be invited into the Great Room, where the room will be set to reflect their vision realized. The dance floor comes to life in the after hours, with candlelight and accent decor provided by Homewood highlighting the iconic 1920s ballroom.

Use of our beautifully restored 1920s stone manor in Asheville's post-Victorian historic district of Montford (less than 1 mile from downtown Asheville)
Multiple ceremony sites, including our Garden Ceremony Site, nestled in the lush adjacent garden amid a quiet neighborhood setting, and our classic Great Room featuring original hardwood floors, cherry walls, alabaster sconces, 20 foot ceilings, and luminous wrought iron chandeliers
Rental: tables, chairs, china, silverware and glassware, buffet and bar set-ups, and accent decor lit with candle light throughout the space
A majestic, string-lit outdoor cocktail hour space on the grounds of the manor
A beautiful indoor bar set up in the castle’s historic Study
Space for up to 110 guests for a seated dinner, or 150 guests for cocktail seating
A list of local, vetted, recommended vendors for all aspects of weddings needs
Full handicap accessibility, including elevator and ramps
A cozy coffee nook, stocked with locally-roasted coffee in press pots, replenished throughout the event, including all the accouterments

Elopements
Elopement and Ceremony-Only packages cater to couples looking to simplify their wedding experience. These packages allow couples to celebrate their love without the complexities of large event planning. Our goal is to ensure the focus remains on the couple and their special moment.
Our packages include:
Up to 100 guests, including the marrying couple
2 hours of venue time at Homewood
Choice of ceremony location: Garden, Study, or Great Room
1-hour consultation (additional planning time available at $25/hr)
Access to the Wedding Suite (as available - $125/hr)
Fireplace mantle candlelight (for indoor ceremonies)
Mahogany chairs for indoor seating and wooden folding chairs with padded seats for outdoor seating, set-up and break-down included
Clients or their florist may adorn the wooden arbor at the garden site, or the fireplace mantle in the Great Room, to create a design symbolic of their style and vision.
