WEDDINGS
Homewood provides a beautiful setting for rehearsal dinners, weddings
and receptions, commitment ceremonies, reaffirmation or renewal
of vows, and Celebration of Life services.  We
have a beautiful ceremony location in the glen adjacent to Homewood.
The valley is surrounded by trees and a lovely pasture. A dry stack
stone staircase is trimmed in thyme and gestures you slowly down
into the valley. The castle's turret peers over the hill as a backdrop
to your romantic ceremony.
 The
Piano Room, our main dining area, measures 1500 square feet and
comfortably provides space for table seating for just over 100
people, in addition to a dance floor and room for your band or
DJ. With a heavy hors
d’oeuvres menu and cocktail seating, we can accommodate up
to about 175 people inside Homewood. For larger events, the lawn
provides
a lovely setting for a tented reception.
NEW BRIDAL SUITE!
In January we moved our offices
to a new space on the third floor of the Homewood building. With
this move we were able to create a new area for a bridal suite.
The new Bridal Suite is 700 square feet consisting of a main dressing
room and gathering area, an adjacent small private seating area,
a beverage area with a microwave and bar fridge, and two bathrooms.
The bridal suite provides space for the bride and her attendants
to dress, have hair and makeup done, or just relax and enjoy themselves
before the wedding festivities. This space also provides a secure
area to store personal belongings. Access is available to the bridal
suite all evening through Homewood’s
event host. The bridal suite is available for up to three hours
prior to the event start for a flat rate of $250.
The small bride’s bathroom on the first floor is still
available at no additional cost. This space is well suited if dressing
space needs are minimal.
 Homewood
rents by the hour, and rental items are priced individually and
separately from the building rate. We also have décor items
available for rent. When you visit Homewood we will customize an
estimate for you according to your individual event specifics.
 You
are required to use one of the caterers from our Preferred Vendor
List for events held on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. You may use
the vendors of your choice on events held Monday through Thursday.
When you visit Homewood you will be provided with a password to
a section of our website which will allow you to access to our
Preferred Vendors page. Florists, Caterers and Cake Bakers working
out of Homewood pay a 10% commission to Homewood.
We will work with the Bride and Groom and their families to coordinate
the details of the event, and to make this special day a very memorable
occasion. |
